It’s May!

Friday, May 4th, 2012

Am I pleased to be back online! You may not have missed these posts, but I have. Between tech issues and otherĀ  more random ones, I have been unable to talk about three art events. The Senior art exhibit, Art in the Spring, has come and gone. I had high hopes for “Allee”, but it didn’t come home with a ribbon. However, I congratulate Yvonne on winning “Best in Show” – it was.

I was there for the first art popup at White Birch Brewery (Hooksett) in April. A great display area, great refreshments from SNHU Culinary, great support from the owner. THANK YOU

Last, and ongoing, is “Get Off the Bench” an art walk and charity auction in Concoord, NH There are many beautiful hand-painted furniture pieces, as well as other great items available. Google it!

February? Already!

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

Can’t believe that it’s been so long without an update –
I’ve been working on some series, some large single paintings, and also looking for new exhibition sites.
Look for me in Concord, during the Arts Walk. I’ll be in Hillsboro, too – for art fairs.
Hopefully, I will continue in at lest one new venue in Manchester.
Will be posting some new paintings soon – be sure to catch up.

A New York State

Thursday, July 14th, 2011

Recently I’ve been traveling to and from New York State. Haven’t spent much leisure time there over the years, so it was time for a change.
Look for my NY series soon. Enjoy the open country as I did.

Spend some time in Weare on July 16th, then head for Main St Goffstown on August 6th. Meet tourists, locals, families, maybe some friends who decided to check out the Moody Pond Marketplace Art Fair in July and Uncommon Art on the Common in August. Get a tan, have a snack, have a different day. It’s fun!

May 2011

Sunday, May 8th, 2011

After a long time without the Net, it’s good to be back. If you check the events listing here, you’ll see that I have been busy…After a terrific night with the White Flag pop-up sponsored by the MCA, I am now part of the Immigrants Art exhibit in Manchester City Hall, another MCA project. This is a showing by first, second, and third generation artists, running thru June.
I joined Eagle Eye to update the outdoor murals at the skate park on Maple St (behind JFK). Yesterday was spent picking up, raking, and clearing the park grounds. Then a few of us prepped the Red Wall. On May 20 and 21, it will be filled with art work by middle school and adult painters. Friday, we’ll be there from 3-5PM. Saturday, we start around 10AM and stay as long as it takes. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO PICK UP A BRUSH EITHER DAY. LEAVE SOMETHING WE CAN ALL ENJOYBEHIND.
